Maze is a Mac OS X implementation of the classic maze screen saver module seen on various platforms. It works with the Mac OS X built in screen saver.
A downloadable game for Android
Find your way out of the maze with just your footsteps and a flashlight to guide you. Don't let the suspense sound effects make you nervous!
This was originally a Unity widget I made to test a maze generation algorithm I found on Wikipedia, and then I converted it into a mobile app and release it on the App Store. It got 20,000 downloads the first week so I charged $.99 for it and it slowed to a trickle. Anyway..
The 3D maze is regenerated randomly each time, with different layouts, wall textures, and skies (you'll have to find the exit to see that). You can choose your own wall texture from the device camera or photo album. Casino cheating slot machines.
Features a first-person view and AWSD movement in the webplayer, and on mobile designd for dual thumb control: left thumb on the lower left of the screen moves you forward, drag your right thumb on the screen to turn.
Give your device a good shake to rescramble the maze. Double-tap on the screen to bring up the menu.
Created with the Unity game engine and assets from Unity Technologies, textures from ArtSkillz free texture pack, audio from iLife Sound Effects, and fonts from the MacXWare Font Library.
The Unity script for maze generation is on GitHub.
