Mythgard, one of the highest-rated card games on Steam has confirmed its second expansion, The Winter War, which released on Steam and Mobile on the 25th of January. The confirmation came during a stream by developers Rhino Games, Inc last week. The Winter War brings a host of new content to the modern-fantasy CCG, including over 140 new cards, 2 new powers, and 2 new paths (a mechanic unique to the game).No expansion in Mythgard would be complete without a story. The Winter War sees the six factions of Mythgard both divided and united to create the Alliance and the Rebellion. Your allegiance towards either group will play into the game, from the deck building process through to your in-match interactions.
Alliance focussed decks look to control the board and overpower their opponents, whereas Rebellion decks may have 'smaller numbers', but look to turn the tide with powerful minions.
