Origins
Rashida began her professional makeup artist journey in 2001 after being at her telecommunications job for 14 years her department closed and sent her job overseas. Stepping out on faith, she made the bold choice to answer the call God put on her heart to pursue a career in makeup and beauty full-time.
Thus, The Glam Doctor was born.
Since that life-changing decision, The Glam Doctor Beauty Brand has serviced an expansive and diverse national client list that ranges from household names to homemakers, has won multiple awards including Wedding Wire’s 5-Star Couple’s Choice Award, the Michigan Chronicles Best In Black award twice, Detroit’s Choice Award and has been a “4 The Best” winner several times , and has educated women from all walks of life: college students, fellow professionals, everyday women, and young women.

In 2017, Rashida once again forged new territory by launching two new arms of The Glam Doctor Beauty Brand: the Glam R Us mobile makeup and hair team in Atlanta and the Glam Doctor Studio, her home-base makeup studio in metro Detroit. She now has full-services teams in Nashville and Los Angeles as well.
Not neglecting her love for her community and her desire to see women empowered, Rashida created I AM SUPERB – a community outreach program designed to bolster confidence and self-esteem in young women. She also started the GLAM Empowerment Camp for teen girls during the Pandemic that helps girls with self-esteem and self-confidence.
As a beauty educator, Rashida teaches at Wayne County Community College, hosts virtual classes for everyday women to unlock their inner beauty, and teaches and consults professional makeup artists on their businesses, best practices, and providing extraordinary customer service to their clients.

You can also restore to Snow Leopard from your Time Machine backups. Just select the last backup made under Snow Leopard. See Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #14 for details.

You can then restore selected items from subsequent Lion backups, via Time Machine's 'Star Wars' display, per #15 in the same link. But some Snow Leopard apps won't work with the Lion version of the files. This is true of Mail, and may be true of others. But of course that's the same, whether your Lion data is on Time Machine, a clone, or just drag & drop copies.
